The work of Friends of the Fountain and Walk has earned recognition from a number of entities over the years. Its restoration and maintenance of the fountain and walk have also helped the Northbrae neighborhood earn special distinction.
On Tuesday, November 15, 2016 the Berkeley City Council honored longtime Friends of the Fountain and Walk leaders Sara and Harvard Holmes with an official PROCLAMATION, praising the couple for their years of dedication to FOFW and the community.
