June 10, 2021 | More Repairs at the Fountain
Leave your thoughts | Categorised in: UncategorizedFriends and neighbors:
The Fountain at The Circle has been shut down temporarily to allow city crews to locate and repair the source of a significant underground leak on the fountain island. It’s not yet clear what the issue is, but appears to be in pipes between the fountain and the pump system that powers it.
The good news: The fountain structure itself appears to be in fine shape. A recent inspection by a top masonry expert declared it in fine shape after 25 years in operation. A few minor cracks that have developed will be sealed soon.
Check back here or on our Facebook page for updates on when the fountain will be back in operation.
Thanks as always for your support of Friends of the Fountain and Walk.
