January 28, 2015 | Meeting on funds for Circle/Walk improvements
Leave your thoughts | Categorised in: Fountain News & Updates, Fountain WorksFriends and neighbors: Tonight (Jan. 28) from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Live Oak Park Fireside Room, the City of Berkeley is hosting a public meeting on how some funds set aside for improvements to The Circle and Fountain Walk will be allocated. These are funds from Measure WW, a regionwide local grant program for acquisition and improvement of parkland and related areas passed by Alameda and Contra Costa county voters in 2008. To be discussed this evening are how the $130,000 set aside for Circle/Walk improvements from WW funds might be spent.
We encourage anyone who is interested to join members of FOFW who plan to attend the meeting. Live Oak Park is located at 1301 Shattuck Avenue at Berryman Street.
