The Fountain at The Circle is on the air!
For some time now, KQED-FM has been running a series called “Bay Curious,” where its reporters try to answer questions about life in the Bay Area. Recently, FOFW was contacted to help with a question: What’s the story of the Fountain at The Circle?
The result is this 10-minute podcast that tells the story of our favorite local landmark, by KQED reporter Maggie Galloway, who grew up here wondering about how it came to be. It features FOFW pioneer and board member Charlie Wilson. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/bay-curious/id1172473406?i=1000450342907
If you have 10 minutes, take a listen. And please share the link with others.
P.S. A reminder that FOFW will be offering a live presentation that tells much more about the fountain, our Northbrae neighborhood and local architect John Hudson Thomas on Nov. 7 at Northbrae Community Church. You can find all the details and a link to register to attend here.
